Dr Contractures sees, understands and feels the great need to stop contractures globally, particularly in low-income countries. We are on a journey to discover the most effective and effecient ways to stop contractures, we believe our purpose is possible. Our ability to stop contractures will depend on who joins us on this journey. We don’t have a prescribed or preset solution, and believe that together with greater awareness, understanding and ability we can identify the areas where the most difference can be made to stop contractures. Collaboratively we will design a strategy and make it a reality, and together stop burn contractures. Join us.

1. Raise awareness of burn contractures
There are not enough people in the various areas of influence who know about burn contractures, and the preventable suffering that they can cause. Dr Contracture aims to increase awareness about burn contractures through advocacy, sharing information and stimulating discussion, not just in the medical community but across the relevant sectors.
2. Foster understanding about burn contractures
Deep understanding of burn contractures, how and why they form, the impact they have and the treatments to prevent and reduce them, is needed to stop burn contractures. Dr Contracture aims to develop and encourage deep understanding of the real issues that affect contracture formation and reduction.
3. unite a community that cares about burn contractures
To stop burn contractures we need a diverse, multidisciplinary group of committed people who can work together to end burn contractures. People with contractures are a foundational part of the Dr Contracture community.
4.Develop strategies & solutions that will stop burn contractures
Based on a deep understanding of burn contractures we can develop effective and targeted strategies that will stop burn contractures.
5. Facilitate change
Dr Contracture solutions are tailored to bring change that will stop burn contractures. Dr Contracture cannot deliver all the changes needed to stop contractures, but it can support and facilitate those who can be the change to stop contractures.
